What's Driftline's Exchange & Return policy?

As long as products are unworn in the water & unwashed, they can be exchanged or returned within 45 days of original purchase. If there is any sign of wear & tear, items will not be available for an exchange or refundThis does not include final sale or promotional items.

To initiate an exchange or return, please visit our RETURNS PORTAL with your order number and email on-hand. You will be presented with various options, at which point you will be able to print a return label. If you still have it, please send your original order back in the same reusable kraft mailer. We will then process any exchanges or refunds upon retrieving that return package.

What are Drifties™ ?

Drifties™ are the premier 2-in-1 boardshort that provides all watersport athletes with a PATENTED 0.5mm neoprene inner lining connected to a stylish outer shell – offering comfort & support during activity. Goodbye surf rash!

How does the sizing run for Drifties?

Because of the inner neoprene liner, Drifties tend to run ever-so-slightly small around the waist. If you're unsure on which size to go with, we generally recommend choosing a size UP for a more quality fit. You can refer to our size guide below for incremental measurements, and feel free to contact us at info@driftline.co for any additional questions.

How do I clean my Drifties?

Once you’ve thoroughly shredded the water wearing your neoprene-lined Drifties, keeping them clean is super easy. We recommend hand washing your Drifties in cold water, ideally with wetsuit cleaner if you have that available (not necessary though). Do not machine dry your Drifties, as that will ruin the neoprene liner; however, a machine wash is acceptable after every few wears (use best judgement).

Once your Drifties are hand washed, they can be air dried out of direct sunlight to ensure the best clean and care for them!

What is your United States shipping process?

Driftline is pleased to offer free economy ground shipping on Contiguous U.S. orders over $80 (excluding Hawaii & Alaska), using our EARTHPACK 100% Recycled, Recyclable, and Reusable Kraft Mailers.

Please allow 1-3 business days for orders to process and ship, excluding weekends & holidays. All U.S. orders will be shipped through the United States Postal Service (USPS) via ground shipping. Please advise that shipping days are based on business days when completing your order.

What is your International shipping process?

Driftline has begun a beta test on its international shipping program, with current availability limited to the countries below:

Please allow 1-3 business days for orders to process and ship, excluding weekends & holidays. All international orders will be shipped through DHL eCommerce shipping. Please advise that shipping days are based on business days when completing your order.

What is the status of my Order?

Orders currently take 1-3 business days to process and then ship. Once shipped, the customer will receive tracking information to be able to follow along via USPS/DHL.

What is the "Free Returns & Package Protection" item?

For a small add-on cost, you will be ensured pre-paid returns & exchanges via our return service, Redo. This item is auto-checked in your cart, however it can easily be toggled off or deleted from the checkout page if you choose not to add it. However, please note that by not utilizing Redo, then there will be a standard fee for a return label to ship the item back as either a return or exchange. Given the frequency of returns/exchanges nowadays, we generally advise utilizing this feature at checkout.

*Please note: Redo is not eligible for a refund if the order is being returned.

What if there are issues with my order?

If the order has a shipping issue, such as saying 'delivered' but it cannot be found, this sometimes happens when USPS incorrectly marks it as delivered. Do us a favor and give it another 2-3 days in case it turns up, as this happens frequently. If it's still not there and considered lost in transit, you can file a claim via our Redo Package Protection app.

If the item has been returned to sender due to an insufficient address, you must also file a claim and provide the correct address to send to. Please note that a replacement pair will not be sent out until the original item is received back at our warehouse.

What is your inventory situation?

As a small team of two & still working our full time jobs, we're always working extremely hard to balance an increase in order quantities with scaling the brand for longevity. We appreciate your patience as we continue to generate batches of products with as many new styles as we can roll out!

Driftline products are conceptualized and designed by our small team in San Diego, CA. We are constantly focused on the details, using technical innovation, bodily comfort, and athletic functionality as the guiding force behind all of our products. We are proud to work with various fair-trade manufacturers throughout the United States, Taiwan, and Vietnam and will continue to find sustainable resources, suppliers, and manufacturers to help us create and represent the Driftline brand.
